We can’t use Right now in past it’s irrational,, Only in the present & future
you’ll undestand more and more by these examples

She slept right now )).. It’s incorrect
She slept right away )).. it’s correct
2- the future
I will run right now
I will run right away
Both sentences are correct
3-The present
I’m supposed to be on vacation, and right away I’m thinking like a cop
I’m supposed to be on vacation, and right now I’m thinking like a cop
Both Sentences are correct
